Giving Back

Liberty Homes is committed to giving back to the community that has contributed to our success in the greater Charlotte real estate market. We strive to show our gratitude through donations of our time and available resources.

To that end, in 2002 and in 2003, Liberty Homes donated a total of $143,000 to the Charlotte Flights Track and Field Club. The Charlotte Flights are a local non-profit organization providing academic and/or athletic scholarship assistance to youth ages 5-18 residing in Mecklenburg County and the expanded Charlotte Metro area.

Liberty Homes also recognizes the importance of adequate affordable housing in Charlotte. In 2002 and 2004 we were proud partners with the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association and constructed the homes for the Association’s Home Give Away.

Most recently, Liberty Homes was honored to partner with Shelco, Inc. in the 2006 Home Builders Blitz, a Habitat for Humanity build of 1,000 homes across the country. Our construction crews worked around the clock and completed the home in a record 36 hours! It was a tremendous joint team effort.

Every Liberty Homes employee takes pride in doing an honest day’s work, while at the same time truly changing lives through homeownership. As our volume continues to increase year after year, we will continue to find new ways express our gratitude to the folks that have helped us make the dream of home ownership possible for so many.
